Due Tuesday, Feb. 7:
-Refugee Unit Reflection -- Please note, we spent a long time on this unit and we want to see depth of understanding and a thoughtful creative piece...if this quality is not possible to come to fruition by tomorrow, then I'd rather have it come in a little late without being rushed.

Due Wednesday:
- Please have a BLANK composition book for Wednesday for our new unit!
- Persuasive map for refugee persuasive letter for issue you are most interested in -- See example below if you have questions:
6th Grade Math:
Due Tuesday, Section 3.1 problems 1-6, starts on page 44
Topic: Increased safety in refugee camps to prevent Child Soldiers
Argument I: children are used in wars as soldiers by rebel forces
Argument II: increased safety can reduce violence and the number of children kidnapped from camps
Counter-Argument: increased security costs too much to fund
Possible Thesis: Despite high costs, increasing security in refugee camps is necessary to reduce violence and use of children as soldiers.
