Welcome Back! It was great to see everyone today and hear some highlights of winter break. We launched our January study of refugees today with a silent discussion of photos and quotes from refugees and a discussion about what rights humans around the world should all have. I am excited about all we will be learning and exploring around this topic.

Students have been asked to keep a reading log of their daily reading. They are expected to read 20 minutes a night. If one night's reading is missed, it can be made up the next night. The weekly expectation is 2 hours and 20 minutes.
