Today the students taught their 1st/2nd grade buddies about volcanoes. They showed the buddies the model volcanoes they built yesterday, explained some of the highlights of what they've been learning about plate tectonics and what makes a volcano erupt. Then together with their buddies, they built a little volcano and made it erupt!
