It was a beautiful, sunny, windy day at Reed Canyon. Students created their scientific inquiry in small groups and will be collecting data throughout the year to learn about one of the following topics: soil/erosion, decomposition, water, or plants. A highlight of the day was eating in the Reed cafeteria and playing a game called "Meet a Tree". Students also used the Pojar book to identify and learn about native plants. It was a full day.
