Thursday Homework

We will be taking the State Writing Test next week. We will be preparing for it in class tomorrow and Friday. Students must complete the test at school, so it's important that students come to school on time with breakfast in their bellies!

Due Friday:
- Geography #12 - World Hunger
- Read pages 5-6 in yellow 19th Century Authors reader- poem by Emily Dickinson. Answer the questions that were handed on separate piece of paper.
Questions:

1. Pick one poem…What is happening in this poem in your own words?
2. Find one part that shows the reader the era that this piece was written in.
3. Find a rhyming pattern in one of the poems.
