Tuesday Homework

We shared our family immigration stories today by creating a piece for our class time-line about when our ancestors emigrated to America and then we participated in a mingling activity where we asked questions to each other and shared our histories. I think we were all surprised and impressed by the stories we bring to class and it sparked our interest to want to learn more about our families' histories.
A couple students brought up a few resources to help discover more about your family's history. One was http://www.ancestry.com/ and the other was a service provided by National Geographic -- https://genographic.nationalgeographic.com/genographic/lan/en/journey.html

Due Tonight: Hope for snow! Hopefully our snow dance led by Amy, Maya, and Julia at the end of the day will help our cause.
