Thanksgiving Break!
I just posted some new photos. Click here to see photos of us working on our river mural and cooking up some delicious fall food...nothing like seeing kids up on ladders and with knives in their hands!
Click here to see photos of our awesome trip to the Cooley Gallery at Reed College. Who knew one could make such beautiful pieces of art with CDs, a pencil, and a straight-edge!?
Students received the assignment for the 3D river project. It is due on December 9th, ideas are due Nov. 29th. I will send an email with the project description attached.
Service Opportunity! Garden Day at school on Monday from 1-3pm!
Research for Settlers and Growth/Industry for the River Story is due Monday Nov. 29th. The writing the students are doing for these river stories are amazing! They are staying true to the perspectives they chose and crafting beautiful stories about the history of their river.
All Service Reflections are due Dec. 1st. We are doing the class-based reflection in class.
