- Bring in resources for Brownsfield 3D model -- foam board, shoe boxes, pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks, etc.

Cycling for clean rivers
Be a partner for clean rivers and streams. Join Environmental Services and the Portland Bureau of Transportation on a bicycle tour of innovative stormwater and transportation infrastructure. See examples of green streets, rain gardens, trees and ecoroofs as well as new bike boulevards, signaling and related art projects.

Bikes, trailers, and tag-alongs are welcome. Advance registration is not required. Bicycle helmets are mandatory. Riders under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

We had an amazing trip to Orenco Station in Hillsboro today, a transit-oriented development.
Make sure you hear about your student's impressions of the place. It's definitely like nothing we see in Portland! I'll post the pics soon.

Portland Parks and Rec is holding a free event at Sellwood Park celebrating migratory birds. If students attend this event and learn about the organizations that are there. They can write a reflection about their experience.
